Plenish designs creative packaging for new Grab and Go range at Waitrose

Plenish has expanded its listing in Waitrose with the launch in-store of its dairy-free Long Life Nut M*lks and 250ml ‘Grab & Go’ Boost, Lift and Savour cold pressed juice SKUs.

This move will support Waitrose broaden its dairy-free milk offering, tapping into growing consumer demand in this category, with 35% of consumers buying free-from to support their general health and wellbeing {1}.

One in five households now drink a plant-based milk instead of cow’s milk. Most products only contain low levels of nuts (as low as one percent) and fillers like rice, carrageen, emulsifiers and other artificial stabilisers. And that’s just in the unsweetened varieties. Plenish’s range has the highest nut content of any long life nut based milk offering in the UK.

By expanding the number of cold press juices that it supplies to the national supermarket, Plenish is also securing an increased share of the £492 million juice and smoothie category {2} with specific surging demand for convenient, on-the go options, having seen the category grow to £22 billion in 2015 {3}.

Plenish founder Kara Rosen says: “We are delighted to partner with Waitrose by broadening its dairy free and cold pressed juice offering and answering growing consumer needs for highly nutritious, power packed drinks that not only taste delicious but are made with the finest ingredients to support health and wellbeing.

“Through this significant development, we are now reaching more consumers than ever before with our innovative product range.”

Plenish is the first brand to bring cold-pressed juice to the UK and market leader in this category, Plenish is proud to use 100 per cent organic ingredients. 500g of chemical and pesticide-free organic produce goes into every 500ml vegetable-based Plenish juice, all power-packed with enzymes, phytonutrients and vitamins and the convenient grab and go format is designed to fit into a proactive health routine everyday:
