PCI strengthens healthcare labelling services offering

Packaging Coordinators Inc (PCI), formerly AndersonBrecon is establishing itself as a third party label provider, with the launch of a standalone labelling service that can, according to the company, “dramatically reduce design and printing turnaround times”.

The US-headquartered and Wales-based company – a global supplier of pharmaceutical commercial packaging solutions and clinical trials services – says the new fast response labelling solution has been developed to meet the “ever-evolving needs” of customers in the industry, providing “bespoke, around-the-clock support”, with sufficient flexibility even for projects where labelling requirements change unexpectedly.

“The new standalone labelling service builds on PCI’s commitment to being a flexible and reliable packaging partner by enabling us to deliver labelling projects for our clients in as little as two days,” says Dr Sue Miles, PCI’s UK site director.

“We recognise that our customers are constantly dealing with changing requirements and timelines and have developed our latest service to ensure we can meet their demands in the most efficient and cost-effective way.”

The company has more than 30 years experience in designing and producing labels, and has customer project management teams experienced in all types of product, temperature requirement, language and market specific need.

As part of its labelling service capabilities, PCI is able to translate labels into any language for customers and can provide regulatory support to ensure the supplied text is fit for purpose in the destination countries.

PCI has recently expanded its UK facility to provide increased capacity and state-of-the-art equipment, enabling the company to handle bespoke labelling batches for pharmaceutical manufacturers at short notice, and activate fast and effective quality control processes to enable materials to be quickly dispatched.
