The dates for next year’s 10th edition of PCD Congress and the 8th ADF Aerosol & Dispensing Forum have been announced as Wednesday 5 & Thursday 6 February 2014.
As well as the Paris cosmetics packaging show’s trademark focus on innovation, sustainability will remain the main theme of the conference and exhibition, taking into account packaging for economies of emerging countries.
The 2014 PCD (Packaging for Perfume Cosmetics & Design) programme will cover:
- Materials (plastic and metal) for cosmetics: technology transfer, new materials, shaping techniques, assembly, decoration
- Design, glass processing: point of recent advances
- Prospects, intellectual property and patents: “reading patents” workshop
- Secondary packaging: labels, notices, triptychs, fillers/wrappers, folding boxes and boxes; patents, materials, production techniques, cutting out and decoration
- “e@PCD”: the convergence of electronics and cosmetics
- Innovation, open-innovation, purchases: what strategy?
Exhibition organiser Oriex welcomes proposals for papers up until Friday 28 June, 2013.
Over 3,000 participants from 56 countries attended the 9th edition of PCD, at the Espace Champerret in Paris this February, taking stock of innovations among the 170 suppliers of packaging, dispensing systems, services and technologies present on the stands.
