Paxiom Shanghai has launched the 24 Head PrimoCombi multi-head weigher for blending and mixing applications, designed to automatically weigh, mix and dispense 2, 3 and 4 products at a time.
According to the Canadian-owned, China-based packaging machinery manufacturer, the new PrimoCombi 24 head combination scale is ideal for blending frozen foods, vegetables, fruits, confectionery, snack foods, ingredients, hardware and more.
The PrimoCombi’s open frame design provides easy access to all components, and can be stripped to its core in minutes for fast and easy cleaning of its tool-less buckets, chutes, pans, and centre hopper.
According to Paxiom Shanghai, individual chutes beneath each head eliminate product spiraling, thereby increasing productivity.
The Nema 4X panel houses core electronics, and is located away from the scale, eliminating any possibility of water infiltration during wash-down.
With a Windows-based Operating System, the Primo360 software that Paxiom has developed offers features such as Skype or LogMeIn.com for online support, Crystal Report for custom reporting, as well as a Help Wizard for easy operation and assistance.
Available in a full range of languages including Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean and English, the Primo360 offers “convenience, performance and robust computing capabilities”.
