29 July 2013

Packaging Innovations London 2013 exhibition organiser easyFairs says the 1-2 October event will be “more international than ever before”, with more than 30 overseas packaging suppliers now signed up to exhibit.

Taking place at the Business Design Centre in Islington, Packaging Innovations London 2013 will host major names from diverse territories including Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Poland and the Netherlands.

Confirmed exhibitors include GMUND, Dapy Paris, Papeteries de Montsegur, Texido, SmartSeal, Favini, and Bandall International. From beyond mainland Europe, exhibitors Knoll Prestige Packaging and the Direct Source Packaging Company are both from the USA, while Glamour Box from Hong Kong has also confirmed it will be showcasing its latest products and services.

Commenting on the growing international stature of Packaging Innovations London, Alison Church, Packaging Innovations’ event director, says: “London is known as a marketing and design hub, a central point where developments for many of the world’s most famous brands begin.

“It is also the luxury brand capital of the world. Our show taps into that by being the only event that brings together the top decision makers working in these areas under one creative roof.”

GMUND UK international sales manager Simret Woldu confirms: “London is at the heart of the design, brand and innovation community; it’s the place where many designers and buyers working for major luxury brands go when looking for new ideas.”

Packaging Innovations London at the Business Design Centre is co-located with Luxury Packaging and the Brand & Design Village.

Regular show features will include The BIG Packaging Debate and a broad timetable of informative learnShop seminars.
