A partnership for the development and production of packaging lines for the high-performance sector has been formed between cartoning machines manufacturer Oystar IWK and blister machines technology specialist MediSeal.
Effective immediately, the two Germany-based companies will pool resource in order to increase productivity and achieve stronger market positioning.
MediSeal MD Stephan Plewa says: “From a technical perspective, our high-performance blister machines can be greatly enhanced by Oystar’s continuous motion cartoner. This will enable us to offer our customers an ideal high-speed blister solution.”
MediSeal’s CP600 and CP1200 machines have undergone continual redevelopment over the last ten years, and can be combined with the Oystar continuous motion cartoners to produce a range of products with a nominal output of up to 600 blister packs or 450 cartons per minute.
“There is also high customer demand for the CP400 to be combined with the SC 4 continuous motion cartoner,” explains Plewa. “A line such as this is particularly well suited for a stacking solution, with just one blister pack per folding box and can produce and carton 400 blister packs per minute.“
Oystar IWK is a globally active company, belonging to the Oystar Group. The company produces and sells cartoning machines, tube filling machines and complete packaging lines worldwide, with a focus on applications for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry.
As a pioneer in blister, sachet and stick-pack packaging, MediSeal belongs to the Körber Medipak Group, a leading provider of packaging and inspection technology systems for the pharmaceutical industry.
