Novel device controls liquid flow

8 February 2011

A device for pouring liquids in a controlled way without over-filling and spills has been developed and patented by Easy-Fill.

The Easy-Fill insert is designed to filter and deliver a liquid in a smooth, even flow into drinking glasses, fuel tanks or medicine bottles, and automatically stops dispensing when the required level is reached.

According to the inventors Jim and Richard George, of Staunton, UK The ‘low-cost’ plastics insert can be integrated into an existing or new product..

The idea was conceived for a multi-purpose safety spout for filling fuel tanks on portable power tools and is stocked by retailers in the agricultural, automotive and marine markets.
