Nestlé Skin Health Invests $46 Million in Factory Extension in Canada

Nestlé Skin Health, global leader focused on enhancing the quality of life by delivering science-based solutions for the health of the skin, hair and nails, today announced that it is investing $ 46 Million (CAD) to extend the capacity of its Canadian factory located in Baie d'Urfé, Québec.

"This investment will allow us to raise the total production capacity of our plant by 25%, reinforcing our commitment to meet the rising demand for science-based skin health solutions, both locally and throughout the Americas" said Cécile Dussart, Nestlé Skin Health Vice President Manufacturing and Technical Operations.

At full capacity, this extended factory will allow the creation 65 new qualified jobs, on top of the 315 existing positions.

The plant manufactures key Galderma medical solutions brands, including Epiduo and Soolantra - available under the brand names TactuPump and Rosiver in Canada -, as well as consumer skin health brands such as the Cetaphil line for mild and sensitive skin.

The global footprint and continued development of Nestlé Skin Health's industrial capacity allow the company to produce its extensive range of products with the highest quality and safety standards, meeting the skin health needs of patients, consumers and healthcare professionals in more than 100 countries across the world.
