Natural choice of coder

8 June 2011

In the UK, Inovia International is relying on machines by Allen Coding Systems for printing batch and best before codes on ‘botanical’ toiletries, cosmetics and personal care products.

Having put its first 53LTi coder to the test, Inovia has purchased two further machines. The decision was based on the quality of service and functional benefits, ease of use and ability ‘significantly’ to reduce downtime, says Allen.

A 300dpi print resolution, cassette ribbon loading, 600m ribbon capacity, 53mm x 30mm print area with print speeds up to 250mm/sec and a ‘best of breed’ thermal print head, are among its features. Allen Coding says it is suitable for use with vertical and horizontal form/fill/seal systems, primary labellers, thermoformers and overwrappers.
