Marie Dalgar Confirmed as Keynote Speaker at ADF&PCD Shanghai 2019

9 January 2019

Masa Cui, Founder and CEO at internationally renowned Chinese makeup brand, Marie Dalgar, will be one of the keynote speakers of the Pentawards Conference at ADF&PCD Shanghai 2019.

Paul MacDonald, global brand director of the ADF&PCD Portfolio, comments: “To have someone of Masa Cui’s calibre taking to the stage is fantastic. Not just for us as an organisation to show the level of speaker we can attract, but also for the brands and visitors in attendance. They have a unique opportunity to hear from one of the leading entrepreneurs and innovators of our generation. It is a really exciting addition to our speaker programme, which already boasts Marubi, Yuesai and Suntory.”

Cui will be speaking alongside Christophe Pradère, CEO and founder at BETC Design and CEO of BETC Asia, to talk about their collaborative work on creating Marie Dalgar’s unique brand image. Its most recent campaign showed how to find beauty in urban spaces, by bringing to life old and new elements of Shanghai. This not only celebrated the brand’s tenth anniversary, but also showcased the innovative and ambitious creative vision that has made it the leading Chinese makeup brand in China, and the first Chinese makeup brand to be sold in Sephora stores worldwide.

Whilst formal titles for the presentation have not been finalised, Cui and Pradère will be sharing their passion for creative beauty and the inspiration behind Marie Dalgar’s unique and internationally known packaging design.

Registration is now open for ADF&PCD Shanghai 2019, which returns to the Convention & Exhibition Center of International Sourcing, on 27 and 28 March. By registering online now, it is free, saving 1,600 RMB. Early registrants for China’s only event specifically designed for the aerosol, dispensing, perfume, cosmetic, packaging and design community, will also be given priority to book the sessions at the conferences when they become available, ahead of the general public.
