An £11 million expansion plan has been announced by reel-fed label manufacturer Americk Webtech for its factory in Enniskillen, UK.
The company aims to increase capacity by purchasing two new state-of-the-art, 10-colour presses and, as a result, create 35 new jobs. It currently employs 120 staff and has an annual turnover of £20 million.
Nigel McSorley, chief operations officer of the The Americk Packaging Group, comments: "Our factory has the most advanced flexographic printing presses in the world and our aim is to become the European supplier of choice for flexible labelling. This investment enables us not only to expand capacity but to continue to innovate, and explore new technologies and materials so that we can respond quickly to changing customer requirements."
He continues "This significant investment will underpin our goal of increasing sales by £10 million over the next four years, focusing on export growth in Europe and North Africa".
