28 September 2011

LGR Emballages Group has bought Goldprint in a move that consolidates the Belgian pharmaceutical folding cartons and leaflet industry in a bid to create one of the main suppliers in the Benelux region for those products.

Goldprint with a turnover of €11 million occupies a modern facility near Brussels and claims to be among the first European converters to have a digital capacity.

LGR Emballages Group turns over €120 million, with 650 employees and 9 sites in France, Belgium and Spain. More than 2.2 billion cartons are supplied each year by its seven plants dedicated to health sector packaging.

The companies will remain as two separate entities and keep their existing management.

The aim is for them to co-operate to create more value for local main purchasing sites.
