Finland-based consumer packaging manufacturer Huhtamaki has launched a “breakthrough” double-walled insulation paper hot cup range, Primo, in Europe.
Primo combines the most advanced thermal insulation and cup strength with a lighter product weight, thanks to Huhtamaki’s paper forming technology that creates insulating and strengthening grooves on the cup wall.
Available in the most popular 9oz (0.2-litre) and 12oz (0.3-litre) sizes, the Primo cup has a full length, smooth outer sleeve that can be custom-printed up to eight colours with high quality flexo.
“Primo comes with a new convenient single (85mm) Uni-lid concept that enables restaurant operations and customer service to become more efficient,” says Maisa Katila, marketing manager for Huhtamaki Foodservice Finland Oy.
“Cups can be made of PEFC certified paper board and feel extremely sturdy and easy to denest, adding to the high quality feel of the cups.”
Primo will also come with promotional options including loyalty coupons and Quick Response code.
