Holfeld Plastics says that its new 30mm deep burger tray has been added to the company’s range because of “popular demand”.
The r-PET tray is manufactured with at least 85% recyclate in barrier materials APET or APET/PE, said to offer a perfect seal for Modified Atmosphere Packaging.
According to the Ireland-based rigid plastic packaging company, the new 30mm deep tray complements the “comprehensive range” of burger trays already available in the company’s catalogue, such as the G485 range in 6 profiles including divides and fin, the TD13, 15 and G805 ranges and the C4E 2 cavity and D15/45.
“Like all Holfeld’s burger tray range there is an A-B de-nest facility providing maximum palletisation, good use of warehouse space and less truck movements,” the company says.
Holfeld operations manager Frank Coleman adds: “Holfeld works in partnership with its customers and this new burger tray is one of many examples of this close association, listening to the requirements, designing trays that perfectly fit specification and budget.
Holfeld Plastics offers the facilities to manage long or short runs, bespoke or standard for its customers.
