Herma UK has supplied Laleham Healthcare with a high speed, self adhesive, wrap around labelling system. As a full service contract manufacturer for global brands in the health and beauty sector, Laleham Healthcare has over 19 production lines covering a vast range of product types and packaging requirements and, therefore requires reliability, accuracy and flexibility in labelling applications.
The HERMA 040 M applies wrap around labels at up to 170 products per minute at very high accuracy and can process products with diameters ranging from 30 to 120mm. In addition to standard wrap around, labels can be applied in orientation to existing marks or print. This is achieved using an indexing starwheel to transport the products through the labelling station.
Quick and easy change parts also support the needs of Laleham Healthcare, as they require the ability to quickly change labelling applications from one product type to the next on the production lines. The labeller is also equipped with twin label applicators to assist in this process.
