Graham Packaging increases PET production capacity at Etten-Leur

3 August 2012

Mid summer has traditionally been a busy period for PET producers and having won some significant high volume customers Graham Packaging were able to increase production capacity at their Etten-Leur facility with the installation of a new blowmoulder.

The blowmoulder became available at short notice from one of the Graham Packaging sites in the US, and the type of machine perfectly fits with the two new account wins. Roeland Marijnissen, Graham Packaging Etten-Leur's Plant Manager said, " We are very busy at present, so the chance to get the pre-used machine from our colleagues in the US has meant we can increase production much quicker than having to wait for a new machine to arrive. This machine also complies with the strict BRC-IoP certified conditions, which covers both production and storage within the plant. Should the requirements of our new customers increase even more then we have room on site to increase production still further."

The Graham Etten-Leur plant produces both custom designed and standard PET bottles for the Food, Dairy and Beverage sectors.
