Gentle conveying on show

27 April 2011

Heat and Control will showcase its latest Fastback horizontal motion conveyors at the forthcoming Interpack show in Germany.

According to the company, FastBack’s gentle horizontal motion reduces product breakage and damage, and eliminates product segregation and ‘sifting’ of product. It also said to offer ‘fast and efficient’ product distribution of even the most delicate of products.

The newest releases include the ClimbBack, designed to convey product up inclines of 8 degrees.

Visitors will also see Powder On Demand, a ‘compact, efficient’ system that transfers powders and granules to seasoning applicators, mixers, storage bins, and elevated equipment up to 19m high.

Recently released was the Model 260E (Generation 2), which features a lower energy consumption of 450W and a design for better stability, says the company. It has a hygienic, durable urethane enclosure and a watershed sloped moulded top.

Two variable frequency drives fit on board and 230V/24VDC is standard.

Heat and Control can be found at Interpack in Hall15, Stand D03.
