Global Closure Systems has extended its range of child resistant closures (CRCs) with the launch of a new lightweight standard product, PharmaSafe.
The “cost effective” PharmaSafe two-piece tamper evident closure complies with ISO 8317 and is suitable for various product applications including syrups.
“Most of the CRCs available on the market are in three pieces, and thus heavier,” GCS says.
Produced and assembled on specific injection moulding machines, the design of PharmaSafe has been optimised to provide enhanced convenience of both opening and closing operations, and to ensure maximum security for consumers.
As a standard PP 28 CRC, PharmaSafe can be adapted for either plastic or glass bottles and is available with either a plug or a liner, as well as in different colours.
PharmaSafe is manufactured on a dedicated production line at Astra Plastique, one of GCS’s brands in France, which is equipped with an ISO 7 clean room facility on site.
