FPA invests in new website

The Foodservice Packaging Association (FPA) has relaunched its website.

The UK industry body says the new website, www.foodservicepackaging.org.uk, is easier to navigate and includes an enhanced news category as well as more information and resources for FPA members.

Member events and photos are featured on the site, which also now carries the latest edition of the FPA magazine as a PDF download.

Members can also access FPA Award entry forms and papers can be posted for member feedback, such as the current proposed voluntary agreement for the Hospitality and Foodservice sectors.

The new website was developed in consultation with the executive committee of the FPA. The project was headed up by marketing committee member Rebecca Turner, from Solo Cup Europe, who says: “We are delighted with the new website as it offers members so much more. It’s the next step forward for the Association and follows on from the recent investment in new branding.”

FPA chief operating officer Martin Kersh adds: “We now need a site that offers much greater access to information and is a more beneficial resource for members. The new website meets that need but also offers the flexibility to continue building the resource, and we will be adding more pages over the coming months.”

Described by The Packaging Federation CEO Dick Searle as “A dynamic association that truly serves its members, industry and the public”, the FPA promotes the interests of manufacturers, distributors and buyers of single use, disposable foodservice packaging used to serve food and beverages to the public away from home.
