Flow wrapper meets expectations

28 June 2013

PCMC reports that its XF1000 continuous flow wrapper has successfully completed production testing at the Sofidel America facility in Florida (formerly Cellynne Tissue).

All speed, changeover and reliability objectives were immediately achieved upon initial testing, and were sustained over a 12 month production test period, the US manufacturer states.

"It is very rewarding to have met all our objectives for the new flexible flow wrappers," adds Barry Valentine, PCMC's XF1000 development team leader. "The development team is proud to have redefined continuous flow technology to now include rapid changeover in addition to unmatched speed and reliability."
