Finding fault – saving waste

19 October 2010

Lek Pharmaceuticals in Slovenia is the first company to purchase the Faulty Label Removal (FLR) system from Newman Labelling Systems

The FLR - which is optional on Newman pharmaceutical standard labelling machines - is a fully compliant system for removing faulty labels prior to application to a container. These labels are then transferred to a paper roll for batch reconciliation and inspection. This prevents the wastage of other systems which reject a container after the faulty label has been applied.

Lek Pharmaceuticals is using the FLR system on a new Newman S350 automatic self-adhesive labeller it will use to label vials from 2-100ml capacity at speeds up to 280/min.
