Consolidation in the German packaging machinery sector sees ownership of HDG Verpackungs-maschinen pass to Fawema boss Peter Steindl, with retroactive effect from 1January 2011.
For 27 years Hans Detlef Glindemann was head of HDG, which manufacturers horizontal form/fill/seal machines for side-sealed bags.
Fawema produces machines for filling dry, free-flowing bulk products into pre-made block-bottom bags of paper or plastic laminates.
Adrian Mitas, Fawema Sales Manager, with will act as Managing Director of HDG.
