EcoCortec to double VpCI capacity

EcoCortec - a European subsidiary of Cortec Corp has announced the phase three expansion of its Beli Manastir plant in Croatia. The €3 million investment will double the site's manufacturing and warehousing capacities, including a new production hall containing three new high-tech extrusion lines and a confectioning line for VpCI (vapour phase corrosion inhibitor) papers.

EcoCortec specialises in Cortec's innovative VpCI films and offers customers complete converting, extruding, and printing capabilities. The company manufactures films and bags to customer specifications and products are tested in its ISO/IEC-17025 accredited laboratory.

The new production hall will also warehouse Bionetix microbial-based bio waste treatment products from the Canadian subsidiary of Cortec Corp.

EcoCortec's Manastir plant is located on a 10,000m² site in an excellent geo-strategic location for Central Eastern Europe.
