Paper cushion packaging specialist Easypack has launched an updated version of its Easypack Shredder for creating cushion void fill from recycled paper or board.
Designed to be simple to use and “built to last”, the latest model of the Shredder has moved away from the use of internal combs – the “accepted low-cost industry standard”, according to the UK-based company – in favour of a combination of steel ‘teeth’ and hardened steel cutting wheels said to be “exceptionally more reliable and hard wearing”.
Easypack will be exhibiting the new machinery at the Total Processing & Packaging Show at the NEC, Birmingham, 21-23 May 2013, where the company will be offering live demonstrations, as well as offering to pack and return any items brought to the show by visitors keen to test the Easypack packaging systems.
“We’ll package up the item(s) in our paper and send them back to you so that you can see first hand how well our 100% recycled paper can protect your products,” the company says.
