Aluminium foil packaging specialists Vaassen Flexible Packaging has created an easy-peel lid aluminium laminate lid for sealing to glass containers, which is being used for a range of premium dessert products produced by Gü.
The luxury chocolate dessert range has become popular across Europe since its launch in 2003, and it is estimated that a Gü dessert is eaten somewhere in the world every two seconds, according to the company.
Vaassen Flexible Packaging was commissioned by the company to create a silver foil lid with one-colour black printing to provide the highest preservation protection, alongside easy opening capabilities. The aluminium base lid has HDPE sealant, which gives the easy-peel properties.
