Compatible with its a-series printers and developed specifically to meet the requirements of a variety of industries ranging from food to aerospace, Domino is launching three new black inks in its continuous ink jet (CIJ) range.
The first, 2BK026, has been developed for the A420i printer and is targeted primarily at the food sector where a heat seal application is required – its resistance to heat and pressure make it suitable for use on surfaces where heat sealing is applied post coding, such as sachets and dry food packaging.
The new 2BK030 is also a fast dry black ink designed specifically for food applications – with a high resistance to fats, edible oils, heat and retort, it can be used in challenging production environments.
And lastly, the new 2BK028 fast dry black ink is designed for use in the aerospace industry.
“Our aim was to develop a range of inks tailored to different applications that can effectively answer our customers’ needs,” explains Nick Plaister, product manager for CIJ at coding & marking specialist Domino.
“We are constantly monitoring the demands of all the industries we operate in and for that reason we are confident the response to our new ink offering will be positive.”
The leading business within Domino Printing Sciences plc, Domino offers one of the most comprehensive portfolios of complete end to end coding solutions including innovative ink jet, laser, print & apply and thermal transfer overprinting technologies.
