Domino launches customisable M220 off-shelf pallet labeller

10 January 2014

Domino has extended its M-Series range of print and apply labellers with the introduction of the new M220, an off-shelf pallet labeller that can be configured to suit different applications.

According to the UK-headquartered company, a leading specialist in inkjet printing and laser printing products, the new M220 is able to meet the tertiary labelling requirements within a diverse range of packaging lines.

A new tamp head allows 180° movement, so that labels can be applied on up to two adjacent sides of the pallet, as dictated by customer requirement and production line layout, thereby both reducing lead times and giving the system a high degree of adaptability.

Available in either aluminium or stainless steel, each with optional label check scanners and climate control unit, the stainless steel version is said to be particularly suitable for harsh environments found in the beverage sector, as it is more durable and can be easily cleansed and sterilised.

Peter Lister, product manager for secondary packaging at Domino, says: “Our target is to help provide in-house operators with optimal working environments whenever possible, and thanks to the flexible design of the M220 production lines can maintain optimum performance throughout.

“We designed the M220 as a versatile solution for palletising applications and we believe it will exceed our customers’ expectations.”

The Domino M220 off-shelf pallet labeler has been designed to fit onto a single Euro Pallet, to minimise shipment space and reduce the costs and carbon footprint of shipping.
