Coding & marking specialist Domino claims that a new Intelligent Technology (i-Tech) service-free ink system within its A420i continuous ink jet (CIJ) coding solution now offers the “lowest total cost of ownership of any ink jet printer”.
According to UK-based Domino, i-Tech delivers “ultra-low makeup usage, reducing costs and operator intervention”, as well as a series of new print head variants developed to increase efficiency and functionality.
“The i-Tech productivity enhancing features integral within the A420i really enables this model to do more for less,” says Nick Plaister, CIJ director at Domino Printing Sciences.
“Not only does it deliver optimal performance… [but] our latest print head variants further extend the capabilities of the A-Series range in terms of delivering quality output within a host of challenging production environments.”
Domino’s A-Series range of CIJ coding solutions comprises the A320i and A420i models, both of which incorporate the latest array of i-Tech enhancing features.
The new variants introduced include Duo, a special twin jet for high speed high volume applications; Pinpoint, for precision coding, an extended 6-metre conduit for easier integration; and a high performance and fast drying black ink, 2BK024, for low energy plastics.
