BRAND TAPS INTO GROWING DEMAND FOR CONVENIENT ON THE GO PRODUCTS

Award-winning British Bircher muesli brand Cuckoo has rebranded its packaging, resized its pots and signed a deal with corporate catering service Bidvest 3663 to tap into growing demand for convenient on the go products.


On the go food consumption has increased by 10% over the past year, with breakfasts brought and consumed in transit accounting for 7.6% of all occasions1. To grow its share of this expanding market, Cuckoo has resized its Bircher muesli pots to 150g packs, ensuring that they are more convenient than ever to eat while on the move.


The brand has also revamped its packaging, with brighter colours and a bolder design to increase consumer appeal and improve its on-shelf presence.


To coincide with this, Cuckoo has secured distribution with Bidvest 3663, which supplies corporate caterer Baxter Storey that services high profile business including Goldman Sachs and UBS. This deal will allow the brand to target busy professionals, providing them with a nutritionally balanced and convenient option.


Cuckoo is renowned for revolutionising UK Bircher muesli consumption with the introduction of exciting and innovative varieties. It retails a range of five editions, including Elderflower & Cranberry, Choco Sour Cherry and Mango & Coconut. The convenient, single-serve Cuckoo pots are designed to be enjoyed at any time: not just for breakfast.
