C&T Matrix launches ‘improved’ Trax Plus traditional pressboard matrix

C&T Matrix has launched a “new and improved” Trax Plus range of pressboard matrix in the UK, targeting printers and converters finding traditional pressboard matrix increasingly hard to come by.

UK-based specialist creasing matrix products and accessories company C&T Matrix says Trax Plus is available in all popular sizes of centred and off-centred channels, plus special bespoke requirements for features such as internal chamfer, and offers “superb” quality, performance, durability and longevity.

“Many printers and converters want to continue to use a pressboard matrix instead of modern synthetic matrix products available in the market today,” says C&T Matrix managing director Simon Shenton.

“Recent product enhancements to our Trax Plus range fulfil all the traditional requirements of a modern pressboard matrix,” he says.

“It can be worked, sanded and chamfered, and is designed for long-life usage, without the tendency for layer delamination, which can be prevalent with traditional pressboard.”

According to the Wellingborough-based company, its “unique” matrix product, technical consultancy and competitive product range has led C&T Matrix to become “the partner of choice for the die cutting industry”.

C&T Matrix offers several world-renowned brands of creasing matrixes, including Kiss, Jazz, XTC and Trax Plus, as well as manufacturing and supplying a broad range of accessories for diemaking, diecutting and print finishing, including ejection rubbers, counter material and patch tape.

The company sells and distributes to over 80 countries worldwide with warehousing and offices in China and India.
