Coveya adds to its specialist range of conveyors for Packaging, Manufacturing, Logistics & Distribution

7 September 2020

Bristol based Coveya Ltd specialises in the design, manufacture, and supply of conveyor systems throughout the UK and Worldwide. As part of the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering innovative, efficient, and safe conveyor systems across a range of core sectors, two new conveyors have been added to its portfolio of conveyors for hire and purchase.

The Telescopic Gravity Roller conveyor offers a practical solution for manufacturing, logistics, packaging & distribution businesses than need to transport boxes and cartons. It is a high impact conveyor with low inertia and 50mm diameter PVC rollers mounted in fully welded mild steel channel frames. It has a load height of 1395mm – 1045mm and a discharge height of 745- 945mm.

Coveya’s Lineshaft Roller conveyor offers a versatile, modular, and economical solution which is ideal for transporting light to medium products that are regular in shape and size, rigid with an even underside. Sections can easily be reconfigured to provide exactly what’s needed and fewer drives are required compared with other conveyors. It is available in powder-coated, galvanized, and stainless steel.

Alongside these two new conveyors, Coveya recently launched Mist-Safe, an over conveyor sanitisation tunnel that has been designed in direct response to COVID-19. It enables the sanitisation of boxes, cartons, tech, and online returns, releasing a disinfectant mist which dries quickly whilst protecting up to 4000 cartons per day.

Winston Herbert, the manufacturing & logistics sector specialist at Coveya said; “Coveya has a reputation for producing innovative conveyor systems, supporting a wide range of applications and with the launch of both the Telescopic Gravity Roller conveyor and the Lineshaft Roller conveyor we can now help packaging, distribution, manufacturing & logistics companies throughout the UK to expand and improve their operation.

He continued; “Whether it be supporting new processing and picking lines for contract packaging, logistics businesses that are dealing with an increase in online sales, manufacturers or distributors simply looking to move boxes and cartons to and from large containers, we have a conveyor to suit any site and with a free onsite visit and short-lead in times for hire and purchase conveyors, we are committed to ensuring our customers have a conveyor that is fit for purpose.

He concluded; “Coveya has always been proud of our design, innovation and the quality of both our conveyor solutions and service. We have an expert team of installers and maintenance engineers that ensure our conveyors are fully operational, eliminating downtime and with a reputation for excellence and specialist conveyors supporting specific industry needs, we are committed supplying conveyors when our customers need them most”.
