High-end packaging and merchandising company Cosfibel has supplied the latest, functional presentation pack for luxury Champagne house Krug’s signature Grande Cuvée multi-vintage blend.
Part of a range of patented gift boxes by the Belgium-based packaging specialist, the elegant Magic Box coffret doubles as packaging and display, and utilises a patented mechanical opening system.
When the lid of the main compartment containing a bottle of Krug Grande Cuvée is opened, a mechanical pivot system pushes the base forward to reveal a drawer containing a pair of bespoke ‘Le Joseph’ Champagne flutes by Riedel.
The cartonboard gift box is covered in finely fluted paper and decorated with a gunmetal brass plaque, with golden rivets and silkscreened golden logo, that forms a magnetic flap closure for the pack.
“This gift box illustrates Cosfibel’s credo: to bring added value through innovation and offer solutions to wine and spirits makers seeking elegant, functional and reusable packaging,” the company says.
