Complete Core approved for organic packing

Wales-based contract packer Complete Core Business Solutions has attained certification by the Soil Association.

The certification enables the company to begin packing organic food and drink products, meeting the strict requirements set at UK, European and international levels, including full traceability and other organic standards covering food production and packaging, animal welfare and wildlife conservation.

Complete Core MD Steve Nicholls says: “The Soil Association symbol is the most recognised organic mark in the UK today, and for our new clean room to gain Soil Association status is a real achievement.

“It also highlights our commitment to following a truly eco-friendly path in business.”

The company has already secured business as a result of the Soil Association certification.

Complete Core Business Solutions benefits from a purpose-built 230 sqm clean room facility constructed of composite hygiene panels, and developed specifically to handle liquids, granules and powders in order to provide a complete contract pack service for dry and ambient foods, and liquid drinks.
