Coffee pack relaunch highlights UTZ farming certification

Douwe Egberts Professional has redesigned the packaging of three of its espresso coffee bean products in order to raise awareness that they are now 100% certified by the UTZ sustainable farming programme.

The Douwe Egberts Intense Selection, Extra Dark Roast and Dark Roast Decaffeinated coffee bean range are available immediately, incorporating a new design and a new Taste Navigation Tool.

The Taste Navigation Tool helps trade customers to select the beans to suit their preferred taste, based on five flavours: smooth & mild, smooth & powerful, harmonious, characterful & delicate and characterful & rich.

The UTZ certified quality mark now included on the Douwe Egberts Professional range packaging gives assurance that farmers learning better farming methods, with improved working, living and environmental conditions.
