27 May 2014

Company News - Press Release - May

Clondalkin Group is re-branding its UK-based consumer packaging businesses

From May 23rd, CB Packaging and AP Burt will trade as Clondalkin Consumer Bangor and Clondalkin Consumer Bristol respectively. The move follows several years of organic and acquisitive investment by Clondalkin Group across a range of markets, and will complete the rebrand of all 35 of its production locations ensuring that each one of them sits very clearly under the Clondalkin Group brand.

Malcolm Farnan, Sales & Marketing Director from Clondalkin Group, said: "We started out on a rebranding programme three years ago bringing each of our companies under the Clondalkin Group banner. In some instances, as with AP Burt and CB Packaging the business names remained. We feel now is the right time for these companies to realise the full potential of our international brand. Customers can still expect to receive the same quality, value and service on which these businesses have built their reputation. The rebranding programme is designed to ensure that the market has a clear understanding of the Group's international presence and capabilities across the entire spread of key markets in which we operate."

Clondalkin Consumer Bangor is a major manufacturer and market leader of multi-walled paper sacks for the Irish, UK, and European markets. With modern converting equipment and the latest paper technology, Clondalkin Consumer Bangor manufactures paper sacks for a wide range of markets which include milk powder, flour, animal feed, seeds, pet food, root crops, and building materials.
