Priplak has launched its newly launched ‘clearest ever’ packaging grade of polypropylene able to offer a 35% weight saving in a100% recyclable product.

Supercristal+ can cuts cost and waste for packaging users, says the French extrusion company.

The ‘strong, lightweight and flexible’ PP substrate can be used to reduce overall pack size by using the material as a wrap or sleeve, to give ‘substantial’ savings, adds Priplak.

“With Priplak Supercristal+ we’ve produced a gloss clear material which is 35% lighter than equivalent grades of PET and PVC,” says Priplak’s Marketing Director Simon Lewis.

Lead times are typically two to three weeks.
