Færch Plast, specialist in plastics food packaging, is supplying Kettleby Foods with clear polypropylene (PP) bowls for a re-launch of ready meals sold at Morrisons supermarkets in the UK.
Vegetable Accompaniments and the Best Vegetable Accompaniments required clear packaging to increase shelf presence.
The clear, high clarity PP bowls help product identification, and the range is ‘brought to life’ as the customer can see what is inside, says Kettleby Foods.
The also offer impact resistance, ‘even at low temperatures’, says Færch Plast.
The filled bowls are film sealed and packaged with a watchstrap sleeve.
According to Kettleby Foods, additional suppliers to the category have adopted the bowl, ‘giving great on-shelf cohesion’.
