API Foils boosts distribution in Poland

17 April 2012

Decorative foil print and packaging provider API Foils Europe has announced the opening of a new distribution centre in Warsaw, Poland in early May.

The company, based in Cheshire, England, says the move will allow it to give customers a quicker delivery service on standard product as well as local sales and technical support, thereby helping customers to better target new business opportunities.

A lease has been signed on the new 550m² site, which has been chosen for its close proximity to some of the company’s key customers, and to Poland’s printing and converting industries.

“I believe that in the next few years Poland, the Baltic States and Russia will provide some exciting growth opportunities for our range of innovative, value adding foil solutions,” says API Foils Europe MD Will Oldham.

“The investment in the new Polish facility not only provides us with the infrastructure to help take advantage of these opportunities but will enable us to improve our customer service and efficiency in the region.”

The company’s investment will provide local sales, marketing and technical support, and will include storage space for a range of standard foils and specialist finishing machinery to slit product to customer requirements.
