Derprosa has developed a packaging film for fresh vegetables, prepared salads and cut greens that the Spanish company claims can prevent Escherichia coli (E.coli). The polypropylene film achieves a 99.9 % reduction in the microorganism culture index on the film’s surface by means of an antibacterial agent, adds the company. It also has anti fog properties.
