Reflections is a new 89g/m² high gloss cast coated alternative label paper designed by US based NewPage Corp for high-end wet glue and pressure-sensitive applications that require smooth printing and a mirror gloss appearance, such as spirits, wine and pharmaceutical labels.
According to NewPage, Reflections resembles cast coated grades with superior surface uniformity and features a high gloss effect achieved without the use of varnishes, UV or aqueous coatings. The paper is FDA compliant for direct and indirect food contact.
Reflections is available with third party chain-of-custody certifications to the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).
