Flexibility is key

Alpha Packaging is a manufacturer of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), high density polyethylene (HDPE) and polylactic acid (PLA) bottles and jars for the nutritional supplement, pharmaceutical and personal care industries. The bottles range in size from 1oz to 1 gallon, and all of the resins, colorants and other additives used in our manufacturing process are US FDA (Food & Drug Administration) approved. We have five manufacturing plants across the USA, one plant in The Netherlands, and a state-of-the-art container decorating facility.

As a leader in PET vitamin bottles and personal care packaging, Alpha Packaging’s North American branches have developed a reputation for excellent quality, flexible scheduling and reasonable lead times. The new plant in The Netherlands is focused on providing the same high quality and flexibility to European customers. More bottles can be produced in less time with higher-cavitation tooling than most of its European competitors. The company is also willing and able to make mold changes and colour changes for smaller minimum orders than current suppliers may offer. If you are interested in using recycled PET in your bottles, Alpha can make bottles with up to 100% post-consumer (recycled) content.

Product lines currently manufactured in Roosendaal include PET Vitamin Packers in over a dozen sizes ranging from 75cc to 950cc. The company also offers numerous narrow-neck liquid lines for OTC pharmaceutical and personal care applications, including:

¦¦ Cosmo Veral, 30ml to 1000ml, 7 sizes, 28-410 necks

¦¦ Pharma Veral, 30ml to 1000ml, 8 sizes, 28-ROPP necks

¦¦ Cosmo Syrop, 60ml to 1000ml, 8 sizes, 28-410 necks

¦¦ Pharma Syrop, 60ml to 1000ml, 8 sizes, 28-ROPP necks

¦¦ Tall Boston Rounds, 50ml to 1000ml, 10 sizes, 20-410, 24-410 and 28-410 necks

Sustainable solutions

Alpha Packaging is currently running PET and HDPE bottles with various percentages of post-consumer regrind (PCR), as well as making vitamin bottles and jars from NatureWorks PLA, a corn-based bioresin. We are making the PCR and PLA bottles for specific customers who have requested these sustainable solutions, and most PCR and PLA containers require a minimum run of 50,000 pieces. Alpha defines PCR as resin that has been used in commercial consumer applications (such as water bottles, vitamin bottles, shampoo bottles, etc) and returned in community recycling programs to be recycled into new products; it does not consider industrial scrap from the manufacturing process to be post-consumer resin.

In addition, through our Technigraph decorating division, Alpha offers environmentally-friendly container decorating services and spray frosting. All of the inks used for screen printing and spray frosting/coating are UV inks, which have no harmful VOCs, heavy metals or solvents to contaminate the environment.
