Glass bottles add a touch of class to new syrup range.

23 September 2008

After considering several options, Malmesbury finally decided on the elegant “Lyrica” bottle, because they felt it portrayed a feel of quality that was synonymous with their syrups. Manufactured in clear flint glass with nine size options, the Lyrica not only met the quality requirements, they also performed faultlessly on Malmesbury’s 4 head vacuum filling line.

Utilising Lyrica’s slender neck design, Malmesbury are using a Portuguese cork with a biodegradable tamper evident cellulose seal, which provides excellent product security, while further expressing the look of quality.

John Taylerson, the founder of Malmesbury Syrups said, “With years of experience in food and drink marketing, I knew that consumers always associate glass with quality, so the real task was sourcing the right bottle. And with sales in the tens of thousands in our first year, it looks like the Lyrica was the right choice.”
